The footage shows the unidentified man climbing and stumbling on the statue while trying to balance; then a part of the artwork breaks and falls. The Irish tourist, suspected of being intoxicated, was caught climbing the recently renovated lion statue located at the entrance of the Brussels Stock Exchange, the capital of Belgium.

According to the BBC news network, the man was arrested and will have to pay for the repairs. The incident occurred just one day after the statue was reopened to the public following a three-year restoration, which cost $150 million or over R$700 million.
