A woman shared a video of her niece stealing her moment and blowing out the candles on her 25th birthday cake. In the footage, the little girl, Haisley, is seated on the woman, Angel’s lap, in a restaurant, smiling and getting excited as the candles are lit in front of her.

The aunt becomes visibly annoyed, even telling her niece that she can’t see the cake and giving her sister, who is lighting the candles, a disapproving look. Haisley doesn’t seem to hear or care and remains fixated on the cake.
Angel’s post generated a lot of discussion on social media; many people sided with her, thinking it was rude of the child and that she had every right to be upset. Others commented that Angel is already an adult woman and shouldn’t be so bothered by what happened.
