The stunning scene was captured by a woman while her husband and other men did everything they could to help the shark get back into the water. According to witnesses, the animal swam quickly toward the beach and ended up getting stuck in the sand.

The footage shows the group grabbing the fish’s tail to try to take it to deeper waters. The marine animal was a mako shark, also known as a bonito shark, the fastest shark in the ocean, reaching speeds of up to 55 kilometers per hour.

The massive specimen stranded on the Florida beach was frightened and thrashed around a lot, causing the men to step back a bit; after several attempts, the shark finally managed to swim away.
