In three videos shared by @almightyarcher on TikTok, the officer, Josefa Familia, dances alongside another man and has already garnered around 5.7 million views.
In one of these videos, the man in question jumps the subway turnstiles, but then returns outside to dance with the officer. In the end, they exchange greetings.
Opinions on the videos vary, with some praising the officer’s relaxed attitude, while others criticize her for not being focused on her job. However, the police department does not intend to take disciplinary action against her, although there are arguments that her actions may violate department policy.
