The Comedy Wildlife Photographer of the Year, the world’s funniest photography competition, has announced the winners of the 2023 edition.

The competition, which received over 5,300 entries from 85 countries, crowned a photo of a kangaroo “playing the guitar” as this year’s grand winner.
“When I saw this kangaroo striking an air guitar pose, it immediately brought a smile to my face, and I knew I had captured something truly special,” said Jason Moore, the photographer behind the hilarious shot.
Founded in 2015 by Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam, both professional photographers, the competition aims to create a fun and unique photography contest unlike any other.
