Emelia Aloni, 5 years old, and her mother Danielle were held captive by Hamas for 49 days and released last week. Now, a video of the little girl returning to her school and reuniting with her classmates has moved the internet.
The clip shows the girl’s teacher opening the gate with a big smile on her face, clearly emotional to reunite with Emelia after more than 50 days without seeing the child. She then gives a tight hug to the little one, who promptly runs to embrace her friends waiting at the entrance.
Emelia smiles from ear to ear as she greets each of her friends; shortly after, more children come out the door shouting Emelia’s name and celebrating her return with great joy. All her friends hug her tightly and express how much they missed her.
