The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a non-profit organization in the United States that helps fulfill the wishes of children aged 2½ to 18 with critical illnesses. This time, they enlisted the help of an airline pilot and the passengers on a flight to deliver the best news to a child named Jacob.
In the video, we see Jacob already seated with his mother when the pilot suddenly grabs the airplane intercom and begins expressing how proud he is of the young boy. “Jacob, just before takeoff, a representative from Make-A-Wish contacted the airline. We were informed that you no longer meet the requirements to be a Make-A-Wish candidate,” he says.
The boy appears confused, and that’s when the pilot invites the “big man” to stand up and look behind, where three passengers were holding colorful signs that read “You are cancer-free!” The long-awaited news causes Jacob and his mother to embrace and cry tears of joy, leaving everyone on the plane deeply moved, as well as many online viewers who watched the footage.
