During the earthquake in Japan on the first day of the year, a Disneyland ensemble member, dressed as Eeyore, the sleepy-eyed donkey from the Winnie the Pooh gang, stayed in character and sought to calm visitors at the Tokyo theme park.

A video shared by a visitor to the location shows kneeling visitors as the speakers warn of the imminent natural disaster: “Prepare for a small earthquake.”

In the footage, it can be seen that the actor dressed as Eeyore does not lose composure at any time. Slowly, he moves, shakes his head, and clasps his hands, gesturing as if to indicate that everything would be okay.

The clip, posted on Instagram the next day, quickly went viral and, in just two days, garnered over 14 million views.
