The video shows Edwards being escorted by her father to the altar and placing her hand in Caves’ hands. While the guests sit down and remove their blindfolds, Cave keeps his on while starting to touch the bride’s dress to feel the different textures and understand why she had chosen that model: “He was able to feel my wedding dress exactly the way I felt it when I first put it on,” she explained.

“This was a very important experience for both of us, even though Ollie is not blind, we thought it would be very important for him and all my guests to experience how the most important moment of our lives would be for me,” Edwards wrote in the captions.

The ceremony moved not only the guests but also millions of internet viewers who watched the video; “I love that he’s crying without even seeing how beautiful she looks,” one person commented about the groom. “What a truly beautiful moment, something to cherish forever. Thank you for sharing this with us,” wrote another.
