A courageous 90-year-old grandmother imparts profound advice to the next generation as she reveals her life’s greatest regrets in a viral TikTok video. Answering her granddaughter’s questions honestly, she moved internet users with her wisdom and youthful spirit.
The grandma tells her granddaughter, TikToker Rachel Dillon, that she regrets getting married so young and wishes she had spent more time working and “mingling with people.” “I regret getting married too young; I met my husband when I was 13 and he was 15, and we got married at 17 and 19,” she says.
When asked if she has any advice to give, the grandma is brutally honest and responds that the world nowadays doesn’t inspire her: “No, my God, I have no advice to give, not with the world the way it is”; “I’ll be happy to go away; I don’t want to be part of anything that’s happening now.”
But she surprises by saying that she didn’t actually want to reach ninety years of life: “I really didn’t want to make it to 90,” she says. “I’ve had everything I wanted from the world. I’m very happy to go and meet my little dog waiting for me.”
